We at Reder Landscaping are proud to announce that one of our residential projects recently received a “City of Midland Neighborhood Beautification Award”.
The beautification awards are sponsored by the City of Midland Beautification Advisory Committee, a subcommittee of the City’s Parks and Recreation Commission. They are presented annually and are given to residential and business properties in Midland who have made improvements that are aesthetically pleasing and have a positive impact on the Midland community and its neighborhoods.
The Hatfield Residence at 2101 Airfield Lane in Midland is the award winning project that we were involved with. Reder Landscaping Designer Brian Weaver began working with the homeowners in 2011 with a renovation of the home’s front yard and plantings. In 2012 we were asked back to redo the plantings along the side of the house. At this time we also installed stone pillars and seat walls in the backyard as well as an arborvitae hedge. Our crews were also back working there this week planting more arborvitaes along a new privacy fence, although this work was not part of the Beautification Award.
This project is one of 13 residential properties and 5 non-residential properties that will be recognized on Thursday, November 1 at the annual Appreciation of Beautification Awards ceremony at 7p.m. in the Midland City Hall Chambers.
Congratulations to Brian Weaver and our crews for their outstanding work!
