French Drain
If you have problems with standing water or a wet basement then French drains may be the appropriate choice for your landscape. French drains are a drainage system designed to manage excess water by redirecting it away from specific areas, such as basements or foundations, to prevent water-related damage. Typically they consist of a trench filled with gravel or a similar material, containing a perforated pipe. When water enters the trench, it flows into the pipe and is carried away to a designated outlet point, effectively preventing saturation of the surrounding soil.
