Talk about being green! It’s top soil making time!
Every year Reder Landscaping’s crews collect over 2,000 cubic yards of lawn clippings and yard waste. After a 2 year process of decomposition, we screen the piles of compost to make our own top soil and organic plant mix.
This short video shows the screen process to separate the finer material for top soil from the larger pieces that need further composting. You’ll notice toward the end, Paul Reder is out there checking up on things (despite recovering from recent rotator cuff surgery!)
A special word of thanks to Pat’s Gradall Service for helping us with the process every year with their bucket loader, soil screener, as well their talented equipment operators.
