It’s Arbor Day Week! This year, Arbor Day is on Thursday, April 24.
And, it’s the perfect time to share some fantastic Reder Landscaping team member news: We would like to recognize and congratulate Warren Liken for obtaining his ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certification!
We are fortunate at Reder Landscaping to have Warren’s level of professional knowledge and skill on our staff. Warren will join the Michigan ISA Chapter website directory as only the 2nd Certified Arborist in Mid-Michigan!
Arborist Certification represents a commitment to the industry, intensive study & training, and passing a challenging exam. Additionally, becoming a Certified Arborist involves the requisite 3 years of experience in the industry before apply to take the exam. Retaining the status of Certified Arborist also involves continuing education.
“ISA Certified Arborist” is a standard by which industry peers, the public, and those in government use as a means to identify professionals who have demonstrated they have thorough knowledge and skill in tree and shrub care practices.
The certification examination was developed by a panel of industry experts representing all aspects of arboriculture. Questions were derived from a job task analysis survey filled out by arborists from around the world. Questions are continually analyzed by the ISA Certification Test Committee using the latest test statistics, and the exam is updated on a regular basis.
Warren joins the elite group of certified arborists who have demonstrated knowledge in trees and shrubs:
