As the 2017 landscaping season gets underway, Reder Landscaping is pleased to introduce our customers to Dick Potter, the newest member of our Landscape Design Team.

Ironically, while Dick may be “the new guy” to us, he is arguably the most experienced landscape designer in the entire Tri-Cities area!

Dick began his design career back in 1975, the same year he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan Sate University.  His entire 40 year career has been in the Tri-Cities, with long periods at McDonald Nursery in Saginaw, Bay Landscaping in Bay City, and in his own practice.

All in all, Dick has designed and installed over 2500 landscapes in the Midland, Bay City and Saginaw area.  He’s also been a Michigan Certified Nurseryman for 35 years.  Not a bad resume for our “new guy”!

Born and raised in Ludington, Dick is the father of 3 grown children who enjoys camping, hunting and kayaking in his free time. He also enjoys traveling to the Caribbean in the winter months, as well as to El Paso, TX to visit his 2 beautiful grand daughters.

We are incredibly happy to have been able to coax Dick out of semi-retirement in order to join our Design Team!  Like all of our talented designers, Dick does beautiful work on all types of landscape projects, large and small.

Whether you need just a few plants to spruce up your curb appeal, or an elaborate design to turn your entire landscape into a private resort, our landscape designers are well known for creative solutions and expert customer service.  To learn more about working with one of our designers, go to this article about “Getting Started”.  Better yet, just call our office and make an appointment to speak with one of our award winning designers.

Reder Landscaping…one company does it all!
